Tracking down the exact age of young internet personalities can get confusing fast due to outdated blogs, automated wikis, and recycled trivia. If you are looking for the truth about the age of Sean from FGTeeV, the confusion usually stems from mixing him up with his older brothers or looking at old articles written years ago. Sean Ryan—widely known as FGTeeV Shawn or Shawn Funnel Vision—was born on November 17, 2015. This makes him 10 years old.
As the youngest member of the wildly popular YouTube family, Sean grew up in front of millions of subscribers across channels like FGTeeV and FV FAMILY. Because he has appeared on the channel since he was a literal newborn, viewers who started watching years ago often still picture him as a toddler, leading to persistent online speculation about his true birth date.
The FGTeeV Family Dynamic and Where Sean Fits
To understand Sean's place in the channel's history, it helps to look at the entire creator family. The channel is run by parents Vincent (known online as FGTeeV Duddy) and Samantha (known as Moomy). They share four children, all of whom have grown up participating in gaming skits, challenge videos, and toy unboxings:
- Alexis (Lexi): Born on July 24, 2006, she is the oldest sibling, often recognized as Skylander Girl.
- Michael (Mike): Born on November 13, 2008, known as Skylander Boy.
- Chase: Born on October 1, 2011, known as Lightcore Chase.
- Shawn: Born on November 17, 2015, the youngest brother.
Sean made his informal debut on camera shortly after his birth in late 2015. As he transitioned from an infant appearing in family vlogs to an active participant in gaming videos around age three, viewers watched him learn to play titles like Roblox, Minecraft, and various mobile games alongside his brothers and dad.
Why Internet Rumors About Creator Ages Persist
Search queries surrounding the ages of young creators frequently get distorted because automated content farms copy old statistics without updating them. A blog post written in 2019 might state that Sean is four years old, and if that page ranks well, readers years later mistake past data for current facts.
Furthermore, YouTube channels featuring children often maintain a lighthearted, timeless atmosphere. Because older videos remain fully accessible, new viewers discover clips from 2017 or 2018 where Sean is a toddler, creating a mental snapshot that doesn't match his current age as a preteen. Checking official creator databases and verified community wikis remains the most reliable way to cut through stale internet fiction.
Common Mistakes When Researching FGTeeV Shawn
- Confusing him with Chase: Many casual viewers mix up Chase and Shawn because both grew up rapidly on the channel during the 2010s. Chase was born in 2011, making him four years older than Shawn.
- Assuming older upload dates mean adult status: Some viewers see channel history dating back to 2013 and assume the children featured in early videos were adults or teenagers back then, ignoring the reality that the channel started when the older siblings were very young kids.
- Trusting unverified net worth and bio sites: Scores of low-quality sites publish auto-generated profiles with fluctuating ages and incorrect birth years to capture search traffic.
