The Sturniolo triplets—Nicolas, Matthew, and Christopher—were born on August 1, 2003, in Somerville, Massachusetts. As of 2026, they are 23 years old. Since launching their content creation career in 2020, they've grown from filming casual videos in a car to managing multi-platform media brands with millions of subscribers.
Understanding their age, birth order, and background helps explain how they built such a loyal community online. While many online profiles skim past the details, looking closely at how these brothers grew up provides a clearer picture of their rise to prominence.
Birth Date, Zodiac Sign, and Early Life
Born at Somerville Hospital near Boston, the brothers grew up in Massachusetts alongside an older half-brother named Justin. Because their birthday falls on August 1, their astrological sign is Leo.
Unlike identical multiples who share the exact same genetic makeup, the Sturniolo brothers are fraternal triplets. This distinction explains why they look different from one another, making it easy for viewers to tell them apart even though they share the exact same milestone birthdays and life stages. BBC has analyzed this critical subject in extensive detail.
The Birth Order Breakdown
Even though they arrived on the exact same day, birth order played a subtle role in their household dynamics. They were delivered via Caesarean section in a specific sequence:
- Nicolas (Nick) Sturniolo: Born first, Nick is often viewed as the conversational anchor of their video projects.
- Matthew (Matt) Sturniolo: Arrived two minutes after Nick. Matt is traditionally recognized as the more laid-back, reactive member of the trio.
- Christopher (Chris) Sturniolo: Born two minutes after Matt (making him the youngest by a matter of minutes), Chris is known for high-energy reactions and comedic chaos.
This tight two-minute spacing means they experienced every childhood milestone, school grade, and legal age threshold at the exact same moment.
Timeline of Their Rise to Fame
The brothers didn't start out with a massive media team. Their journey began during their final years of high school in Massachusetts.
- Late 2020: They uploaded their very first YouTube video, filmed casually in a McDonald's parking lot.
- 2021: Balancing school commitments with content creation, they graduated from high school while watching their follower counts climb past tens of thousands.
- 2022: Their signature car-vlog format went viral, prompting a move to Los Angeles and formal representation with United Talent Agency.
- 2023–Present: They expanded beyond standard vlogging by launching a podcast titled Cut the Camera, releasing physical products like Nick's Space Camp Wellness brand and Chris's Fresh Love clothing line, and earning recognition from publications like The Hollywood Reporter.
Common Misconceptions About the Triplets
When internet personalities grow up rapidly in the public eye, rumors tend to circulate. Fans often search for hidden details regarding their family structure or schooling.
One frequent point of confusion involves whether they have other siblings. While they are a tight-knit trio online, they share their family with an older brother, Justin, who grew up outside the daily spotlight. Another common mix-up is assuming they are identical triplets because of their shared age and close bond, but their distinct facial features and varying personalities clearly mark them as fraternal.
