When people look up celebrity trivia, they expect standard bullet points about real estate portfolios or chart-topping tracks. Sometimes, pop culture drops a completely unexpected crossover that leaves fans scratching their heads. You've probably landed here trying to figure out how a Kardashian-Jenner family member connects to a flock of animated, flightless birds. Let's clear up the confusion right away.
Psalm West, the youngest son of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, born in May 2019, has no direct acting, voice-over, or production credits in The Angry Birds Movie or its sequels. The animated franchise, featuring voice talents like Jason Sudeikis and Josh Gad, launched its first installment in 2016 and a sequel in 2019. Because Psalm was born the exact year The Angry Birds Movie 2 hit theaters, internet algorithms and low-quality content farms have mashed these unrelated entities together to capture search traffic.
Understanding why this misconception exists requires looking at how search trends work. Celebrity children frequently become subjects of viral speculation, and automated content generation tools often pair trending toddler names with random box office hits. While Psalm doesn't voice a pig or a bird, looking at how celebrity babies intersect with Hollywood media reveals fascinating patterns about modern fame.
The Reality Behind Celebrity Child Trivia
Internet rumors love a good crossover. When algorithm-driven sites publish vague headlines hinting at hidden connections, readers often assume there's a secret cameo or a behind-the-scenes family connection. In Psalm's case, no such link exists. His older sister, North West, actually voiced a character in PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie in 2023, which often leads to cross-family confusion among casual fans trying to remember which West sibling appeared in which animated film.
When you strip away the clickbait, celebrity children usually stay out of major studio feature films until they're a bit older. Voice acting requires studio discipline, script reading, and vocal control that toddlers simply aren't doing. North's brief foray into animation came when she was four years older than Psalm was during the release of the second Angry Birds installment.
What The Angry Birds Movie Actually Is
If you came here looking for details about the films themselves, it helps to separate the facts from the online noise. Rovio Entertainment’s mobile game transition into a cinematic universe was a massive box office success.
- The Angry Birds Movie (2016) grossed over $350 million worldwide, focusing on Red, Chuck, and Bomb discovering why the green pigs invaded their island.
- The Angry Birds Movie 2 (2019) introduced new characters like Zeta, voiced by Leslie Jones, and expanded the island dynamics by forcing birds and pigs to team up against a shared glacial threat.
Neither movie features any member of the Kardashian-West family in the cast lists, production credits, or soundtrack contributions. The primary keyword association exists purely as a byproduct of automated keyword targeting.
Common Misconceptions About Celebrity Media Credits
Fans often confuse real-life family branding with professional casting. Because famous families share vast media footprints, casual observers frequently mix up who starred in what.
- The Sibling Mix-Up: Confusing North West's voice acting role in PAW Patrol with her younger siblings.
- Algorithm Confusion: Search engines sometimes group unrelated trending entities—like a famous baby's birth year and a major animated sequel's release year—into a single misleading article slug.
- Soundtrack Rumors: Believing that famous parents secure background music placements for their children, which has no documentation in the official Sony Pictures Animation music logs for either Angry Birds film.
