O'Shea Jackson Jr.: The Eldest and Hollywood Success Story
As the oldest child, O'Shea Jackson Jr. experienced his father's rise to cinematic and musical mogul status firsthand. Born in 1991, he famously inherited his father's physical appearance and artistic traits.
He attended William Howard Taft High School in Woodland Hills, California, graduating in 2009 before studying screenwriting at the University of Southern California. His big break came in 2015 when he played his father in the biographical drama Straight Outta Compton. Since then, he has carved out a legitimate acting career with roles in major projects like Godzilla: King of the Monsters and the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi. He is also a father himself, making Ice Cube a grandfather.
Darrell and Shareef Jackson: Following the Musical Roots
Ice Cube's younger sons have taken different paths within the entertainment industry, blending public visibility with behind-the-scenes work.
Darrell Jackson (Born 1992)
Darrell, often known by his rap moniker Doughboy, was born just a year after O'Shea. Like his father and older brother, he pursued music. He graduated from Taft High School in 2010 and later signed with Lench Mob Records, the independent record label founded by his father. He prefers a lower profile than O'Shea Jr. but remains active in the hip-hop community.
Shareef Jackson (Born 2000)
As the youngest of the siblings, Shareef grew up largely away from intense public scrutiny. Born in June 2000, he occasionally appears alongside his father at milestone public events, such as Ice Cube's Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony. He maintains a private lifestyle, focusing on personal projects outside of the celebrity spotlight.
Karima and Deja Jackson: Keeping Private Lives
Ice Cube's daughters have chosen paths entirely separate from Hollywood glamour, focusing instead on academics and private professional careers.
Karima Jackson
Born in February 1994, Karima pursued higher education seriously. She earned a degree in sociology from Rutgers University and later completed a Master's degree in child advocacy from Montclair State University. She works in fields dedicated to social welfare and community support, steering clear of the entertainment industry.
Deja Jackson
Also born in 1994, Deja is the most private member of the family. Very few public records or interviews detail her personal life or career, as she chooses to live completely outside the public eye.
