Joining BIGHIT MUSIC and Debuting at Sixteen
Hueningkai officially became a trainee under BIGHIT MUSIC in 2016. At the time, entering a major agency as a teenager required intense training in vocal control, dance synchronization, and stage performance.
On January 15, 2019, he was revealed as the third official member of TXT, making history as the first non-ethnic Korean idol to debut under the agency. On March 4, 2019, the group released their debut EP, The Dream Chapter: Star. - Vocal Range: Known for his bright tone and soaring high notes, he frequently takes on challenging vocal arrangements in his group's discography.
Sibling Success in the Entertainment Industry
Talent runs deep in the Huening family. Hueningkai is the middle child among three siblings, all of whom have pursued careers in the entertainment industry:
- Lea Navvab Huening: His older sister, born in 2000, is a model and former member of the girl group VIVA.
- Hueningkai: The middle sibling, driving success as part of TXT.
- Huening Bahiyyih: His younger sister, born in 2004, secured a spot in the global girl group Kep1er through the competition show Girls Planet 999.
