Watch the sun rise Looking out the hotel window That's right I'm right here with you, you, you
And if I rewriting the stars To make you mine Would you stay with me tonight? Oh, would you stay with me tonight?
Watching the puddles gather outside My window And I know That you're right here with me, me, me
And if I rewriting the stars To make you mine Would you stay with me tonight? Oh, would you stay with me tonight?
And I don't wanna leave you But I have to go You'll never know how much I miss you When I'm away from home
And if I rewriting the stars To make you mine Would you stay with me tonight? Oh, would you stay with me tonight?
Terjemahan Bahasa Indonesia "Here With Me"
Makna di Balik Lagu "Here With Me"
D4vd wrote "Here With Me" while playing video games and recording music inside his sister's closet in Houston, Texas. The track relies heavily on cinematic imagery, drawing inspiration from Pixar's Up to capture a sense of eternal devotion and the pain of physical separation.
The core message revolves around long-distance longing and the desperate wish to alter destiny just to keep a loved one close. When d4vd sings about "rewriting the stars," he expresses a universal human sentiment: the feeling that conventional reality isn't enough when you're separated from someone who anchors your world.
