Morning Programming Schedule
Fox and Friends anchors its morning block with a predictable daily lineup. Knowing the timing helps you catch specific segments, interviews, or breaking updates.
- Fox & Friends First: Airs at 5:00 AM Eastern, offering an early look at overnight headlines and morning previews.
- Fox and Friends: Airs from 6:00 AM to 9:00 AM Eastern. Co-hosts Steve Doocy, Ainsley Earhardt, Brian Kilmeade, and Lawrence Jones break down current events, politics, and human interest stories.
- America's Newsroom: Follows immediately at 9:00 AM Eastern, shifting the tone toward hard news with Bill Hemmer and Dana Perino.
Time zones dictate your local broadcast window. If you live in the Central, Mountain, or Pacific time zones, DirecTV typically feeds the national schedule adjusted for local hours, meaning the main broadcast hits your screen at 6:00 AM local time unless you access an alternate East/West feed.
Fixing Missing Channels or Guide Errors
Sometimes you turn to channel 360 and find a blank screen, an error message, or a message stating the channel is not authorized. Try these steps to fix the issue:
- Refresh your receiver: Log into your account online or use the DirecTV Support Page to send a refresh signal to your box. This clears authorization glitches.
- Check parental controls: If your receiver has locks enabled, news or talk programming might be restricted. Review your settings menu to ensure channel 360 isn't blocked.
- Verify billing status: A temporary payment lapse can suspend specialty news tiers while local broadcast channels continue to function.
- Restart the hardware: Unplug your DirecTV receiver for thirty seconds, plug it back in, and let the guide reload completely.
