Navigating a busy warehouse club requires knowing the schedule before you drive out. The Costco Billings MT location sits at 3880 Zoo Drive, serving Yellowstone County and surrounding regional communities with bulk groceries, electronics, and specialized automotive care. Standard warehouse doors open Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM, Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, and Sundays from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Executive members get early access starting at 9:00 AM Monday through Saturday, and 9:00 AM on Sundays.
Beyond the main retail floor, this facility houses a high-volume fuel station, an optical center, a pharmacy, and a tire service department. Traffic around Zoo Drive spikes heavily during late Saturday mornings and weekday evenings. Planning your trip around peak congestion windows saves you twenty minutes just finding a parking spot.

Location, Access, and Traffic Navigation
The Billings warehouse is located at 3880 Zoo Dr, Billings, MT 59102, positioned conveniently near major regional thoroughfares. Getting there usually involves taking Interstate 90 and exiting toward Zoo Drive.
Because this warehouse serves a massive geographic footprint spanning south-central Montana, parking lots fill up fast. Follow these practical steps to secure a spot without a headache:
- Approach via King Avenue West or local connector roads if Interstate traffic backs up during afternoon rush hours.
- Aim for arrival right when doors open at 9:00 AM for Executive members or 10:00 AM for general members to grab prime parking near the entrance.
- Avoid Saturday afternoons between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM unless you enjoy circling rows for an open spot.
If you are mapping your route from neighboring towns like Laurel or Livingston, check live transit updates through the Montana Department of Transportation for winter weather advisories or road construction alerts.
Available Warehouse Services and Amenities
This location provides a full suite of member perks designed to cut down on separate errand stops.
Tire Service and Maintenance
The tire center handles installations, rotations, and flat repairs. Appointments are strongly recommended and can be booked online through Costco Tire Appointments. Walk-ins are accepted based entirely on daily bay availability, which fills up quickly after the first snowfall in Montana.
Optical and Hearing Aid Departments
Licensed opticians staff the optical department to fit frames, adjust glasses, and process prescription lenses. Next door, the hearing aid center offers free hearing tests, cleanings, and digital device fittings by appointment.
Food Court and Fuel Station
The food court operates near the exit doors, serving hot dogs, pizza slices, and berry smoothies. Outside, the multi-pump gas station offers regular and premium unleaded fuel. Pay-at-the-pump speeds up lines, though peak morning and evening commute hours still experience brief vehicle queues.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
Shoppers often run into predictable roadblocks at this specific location. Avoiding these missteps saves you time and frustration:
- Showing up at the pharmacy on Sunday: The retail warehouse stays open on Sundays, but the pharmacy is completely closed. Don't drive across town to pick up medical refills on your weekend grocery run.
- Ignoring pharmacist lunch closures: If you arrive between 1:30 PM and 2:30 PM on a weekday when a single pharmacist is on duty, the window closes temporarily. Plan your prescription pickups around this midday gap.
- Forgetting physical or digital membership cards: Self-checkout lanes and the gas station require a scanned membership barcode. If you left your card at home, stop by the membership counter first to print a temporary pass.
