Understanding the Conceptual Lore: Members and Avatars
One element that confuses casual listeners is the "ae" system. Alongside the four human members, the group features four virtual avatars living in a digital realm called KWANGYA. These avatars—ae-Karina, ae-Giselle, ae-Winter, and ae-Ningning—communicate with the human members through a phenomenon called SYNK, guided by an AI system named nævis. While recent musical releases lean away from heavy virtual storytelling, the lore remains a foundational building block of their early identity.
